This Saturday I will be shooting the annual walk on the DC mall for the National Epilepsy Foundation and I just thought it would be good to post it here so all my great readers can come out and support the cause.

It'll be a beautiful day for a walk as the cherry blossoms are expected to be in full bloom this Saturday - hope to see you there!

Sometime next week I'll be sure to share some of the shots from the event in this space for anyone who is unable to attend in person.

I know there are still blizzards going on up north and all, but the arrival of daylight savings time always signals one thing to me - SPRING CLEANING!

We are really excited around here to announce that soon we will be adding an additional website specifically related to our great portrait photography!

Many seem to view us as only wedding photographers but we're trying to change that perception by actively promoting our growing portrait business. We love photographing people and the fact is, as great as weddings are - there are so many other fantastic moments, memories and good times during the rest of our lives that also need to be documented and preserved.

Keep an eye out in the next few weeks for the new site, which we hope you will find to be visually impactful as well as fun to visit...or if you're really interested, contact me via email for a little 'sneak preview' and give me some feedback on things you like/dont like and maybe you can be instrumental in the new site's creation!

Yesterday was my first experience in a major bridal show - or a bridal show of any kind, for that matter!

I really didnt know what to expect but I have to say it was a wonderful opportunity to meet lots of good people. Sure it was hectic with seemingly millions of vendors and while i understand there were nearly 50 other photographers there it felt great to receive such a warm response from the couples who did stop through our booth for a visit.

I will admit that there were so many people it's hard to remember everyone by name but I particularly recall Norma, Wilson and Maribel who are going to be renewing their vows after 12 years! Earla...also Susan, I cant forget you because your parents live near me! LOL

Thanks again to you all and the many more who I did not mention but who also helped to make me feel at home at the show yesterday!
