Well today was the second time around in trying my hand at a bridal show. I have to admit at one point I thought that these events would not be worthwhile ventures for me but the fact is I have met so many nice people at these two shows and really enjoyed myself thoroughly! I want to thank all the folks who came by our booth and posed for the camera by offering a 10% discount off our wedding packages - just contact me and let me know that you saw yourself on the blog! This past Saturday I had the distinct pleasure of spending a beautiful and sunny spring afternoon in Remington, VA with the family and friends of Chris & Kristina as they said their wedding vows at the Inn at Kelly's Ford. The walk on the National Mall for the Epilepsy Foundation was a great success this year. The weather cooperated to the degree that it didnt rain but it was still pretty chilly by most accounts - however that didnt stop hundreds of participants from coming out to support the cause! One thing I will say is that I learned a lot about this disease from being present and I'm just glad that I was able to help document the great energy and passion of this worthwhile event.
